LYNNWOOD — An Everett man was injured when he was ejected after his car crashed while being chased along I-5 early Saturday near Lynnwood.
The man, 22, was taken to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Information about his condition was not immediately available.
The Washington State Patrol said he was driving northbound on I-5 near the I-405 interchange when a trooper attempted to stop his BMW.
The driver reportedly sped away. The crash happened as the fleeing car attempted to pass a semi-truck on the right shoulder and hit the guardrail.
The driver was ejected as the vehicle left the road, landing east of the interstate on Interurban Trail.
