A spokesman for the prosecutor’s office says Musab Musmari waived his court appearance Monday. The judge set his bond hearing for Tuesday.
According to a court document released Monday, investigators learned Musmari had a one-way ticket to Turkey on Saturday. He was arrested by Seattle police that day as he was leaving his house. Officers believe he was on his way to the airport.
Police say in court documents that callers identified Musmari from surveillance video that was released to the public.
There were 750 people celebrating the holiday in the nightclub Neighbours when an arsonist poured gasoline on a carpeted stairway and set it ablaze. The club’s sprinkler system activated, and no one was injured.
