Fire damages Smokey Point apartment building

ARLINGTON — Fire damaged an apartment in Smokey Point Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
Arlington Fire Department crews were called to the 3200 block of Smokey Point Drive around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Crews were able to contain the fire to one apartment unit in the building, officials said.
The fire was extinguished by 3:15 p.m.
The Snohomish County Fire Marshal has been asked to investigate the fire.
