HANOVER, N.H. — Dartmouth College is planning to hold a memorial service for a 20-year-old member of its cross-country ski team who died at an event in Vermont.
The service for Torin Tucker is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday at Rollins Chapel and will include student reflections. Also speaking is Charlotte Johnson, dean of the college.
A candle-lighting ceremony and gathering will follow the service.
Tucker, a junior from Sun Valley, Idaho, died while competing at a cross country skiing marathon in Craftsbury, Vt., on Saturday.
The cause of his death is still under investigation.
