Did you hear about this? With Jay Leno’s 22-year run on the “Tonight Show” ending Thursday, a team of researchers took it upon themselves to pore over Leno’s 4,600 shows. They determined that of the nearly 44,000 jokes he told, 4,607 of them were at Bill Clinton’s expense.
The study was prepared by George Mason University, but The Buzz understands the actual task of watching 4,600 Leno monologues was outsourced to the detainees at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Don’t know much about history: On this day in 1936, President Franklin D. Roosevelt authorized a flag for the office of the vice president.
In a wacky mix-up last summer, Vice President Joe Biden mistook the obscure flag for a chamois cloth and used it to polish his 2004 Camry.
Mr. Freeze: Students at a women’s college in Massachusetts have kicked up a fuss over a lifelike sculpture of a man stumbling zombie-like through the snow while clad only in tighty-whities.
Some students say the sculpture made them uncomfortable. Men, meanwhile, tend to shrink away from it.
