ARLINGTON — The remains found at a north Snohomish County park Feb. 1 are those of an Arlington man who was reported missing in May.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner has identified him as Jeremy M. Imrie, 39.
The death investigation by the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is pending, waiting for the medical examiner to determine a cause and manner of death, sheriff’s office spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
The remains were discovered by two people walking their dog at Twin Rivers Park last weekend.
A social media post sharing a missing poster after Imrie’s disappearance made clear that he had people who cared about him. It read: “Jeremy is thought of and prayed for everyday. His children and family, community and friends hold onto hope and search for answers, since his disappearance.”
