Behold two best teams in Wesco 3A

The memory of Seahawk wide receiver Golden Tate’s controversial “simultaneous reception” comes to mind as I currently observe Mountlake Terrace and Glacier Peak holding “simultaneous possession” of the boys and girls Wesco 3A South basketball division’s top spots.
To this Mountlake Terrace native, “Glacier Peak” evokes images of climbing Mount Pilchuck a dozen times and always seeing the beautiful, majestic mountain off towards the east — as well as making the trek from Holden Village up to the vista at Cloudy Pass and seeing that same gorgeous peak to the west.
In light of that stunning “simultaneous visage,” to the Hawks and Grizzlies I exhort you: May the best team win at Districts!
