Prep boys basketball: Mountlake Terrace 70, Ferndale 46

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Mountlake Terrace outscored Ferndale 18-2 in the third quarter to erase a four-point halftime deficit and the Hawks rolled to a 3A District 1 Tournament win. Loren Lacasse had 17 points and 11 rebounds and Greg Bowman added 15 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Hawks. Mountlake Terrace will take on Stanwood in the semifinals on Friday at Jackson H.S.
