A little pink pill

Chocolate doesn't work? The FDA has approved a study of a new drug that could treat low sexual desire in women.

In the study, half of the subjects will receive the new drug, while the other half will be given a placebo therapy deemed as effective in improving female libido: husbands loading the dishwasher as demonstrated by wives, separating laundry into whites and colors and replacing the toilet paper roll when empty.


Baseball? What's that? A day before pitchers and catchers report for Spring Training, Seattle Mariners General Manager Jack Zduriencik said there was still time for the team to make a major roster addition. "There's probably a window to do something," he said.

We weren't hoping so much for a window as we were a door for Zduriencik and Mariner CEO Howard Lincoln to walk out of.


The peanuts are still complimentary: U.S. airlines are facing a shortage of pilots as thousands near mandatory retirement. A low starting wage of $20,000 is discouraging new pilots.

One option airlines are considering is charging passengers a $100 upgrade if they want a pilot and a co-pilot on their flight.
