Man arrested after domestic violence disturbances

EVERETT — Police activity in the area of Meridian Avenue and 115th Street SE in south Everett on Tuesday night involved two related domestic-violence disturbances.
No serious injuries were reported, and one man was arrested in the case early Wednesday morning, according to Everett police.
Officers first were called to the area about 10:45 p.m. for reports of a disturbance and shots fired, Everett police spokesman Aaron Snell said. Nothing suspicious was found at the time.
A short time later, officers were called again to the 7-Eleven store on 112th Street SE for another disturbance involving the same couple, Snell said.
By early morning, both people were located and were safe. The man was booked for investigation of second-degree domestic-violence kidnapping.
That incident was unrelated to another police operation Tuesday evening in the 3200 block of 26th Street in Everett, near Garfield Park. In that case, Everett police and Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies were assisting Seattle police with a search warrant, Snell said.
Seattle police have not yet released additional information about that case.
