EVERETT — Everett police continued Friday with an Amber Alert they hope will locate a newborn believed in grave danger.
At 9 p.m. on Thursday, police issued the alert for Roshell Marie Turner, 31, who gave birth to a boy on Jan 27.
The baby was born in a hotel room and has not received medical aid, Everett police spokesman Aaron Snell said. The woman has not cooperated with Child Protective Services or other authorities, he said.
Child Protective Services, a division of the Department of Social and Health Services, believes the newborn is in grave danger and needs immediate medical attention, which has not been provided.
Tips poured in regarding the Amber Alert, but by daybreak Friday, the woman and child had not been found, Snell said.
