The Duet — Bottom Line Duo: Concert is 7:30 p.m. Feb. 15 at Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater, 1211 Fourth St., Snohomish. Tickets are $20 and available from www.brownpapertickets.com. Spencer and Traci Hoveskeland, the Bottom Line Duo, got their ensemble name in 1992 when presented as the Bottom Line by the "Ladies Music Club" of Bellingham. It stuck. The cellist and the bassist perform in a chamber music fashion, with anecdotes and refined comedy. The duo has played in New York's Carnegie Hall and Washington D.C.'s Kennedy Center.

Pacifica Chamber Orchestra: Fred Chu, artistic director, and Pacifica Chamber Orchestra will perform a "Sunshine Concert" at 3 p.m. Feb. 23 at First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. Ludovic Morlot conducts the Berlioz, with its call of shepherds, cackle of witches and dramatic march to the scaffold. In addition, French cellist Xavier Phillips is to play the Schumann "Concerto in A minor for Cello."
South End String Band: Concert to benefit the Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center; 7 p.m. Feb. 15, at the center, 27130 102nd Ave. NW, Stanwood. Suggested donation of $15 includes snacks. Beer and wine for sale. Since the "Floyd" opened its doors in 2006, the band has played their old-time fiddle music in annual benefit concerts. Special guest this year is Granite Falls' Ryan Foxley on mandolin and fiddle. The band is Erich Schweiger on fiddle, Monika DeNasha on guitar, bassist Don Mailloux and the outspoken Jack Archibald playing the banjo.
Everett Chorale: "Back to Broadway" fundraising event, 6:30 to 9 p.m. Feb. 28, Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Ave., Mukilteo. The annual gala sing-along fundraiser features the Broadway hits of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein, including "Oklahoma." "Carousel," "South Pacific," "The King and I" and "The Sound of Music." The fundraiser includes a silent auction, raffle drawings.
