Love, Vatican style

Say the magic words: Pope Francis welcomed 25,000 lovebirds to the Vatican on Friday for a special Valentine’s Day audience. The pontiff told the couples that the secret for a successful relationship involves saying three words: “Please, thanks and sorry.”

Francis’ remarks were followed by a dance chaperoned by retired Pope Benedict XVI, who made sure there was no funny business.

Cable guy now cable behemoth: Widespread wariness has greeted Comcast’s plan to buy Time Warner Cable for $45 billion — which is no surprise, given that both companies rank near the bottom in customer satisfaction surveys.

Still, Comcast CEO Brian Roberts insists the deal will be “pro-consumer” — but only between 8 a.m. and noon on Wednesday, time window subject to change, some exclusions may apply.

Resolutely oppose Agenda 21: A United Nations panel has concluded that crimes against humanity have been committed by the Stalinist regime in North Korea. The U.N. also will call for an international criminal investigation of Pyongyang.

North Korea promptly issued a press release titled “DPRK Unites with Tea Party Patriots of Texas to Forcefully Denounce Imperialist Aims of United Nations.”
