Imagine Children’s Museum is capping off National Children’s Dental Health Month with a golden opportunity on Friday.
Their monthly free Friday Night Live event is Tooth-apolooza from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
Local pediatric dentists will give free mini dental exams. Kids can also run around to the various stations set up with activities such as “Plaque Beware” where they can practice brushing away nasty plaque using a toothbrush and a hard-boiled egg.
Other activities include “Toothpaste: Your Teeth’s Superhero,” and creating their own “Brush-and-Go Bristle Book,” a daily brush reminder to take home.
Dr. Science, the museum’s resident expert, conducts the “Sugar Aware Experiment” from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. where children will figure out how much sugar is really in a candy bar.
The Art Studio’s projects each Friday in February include a tooth fairy finger puppet, mini chompers and marshmallow smiles.
At the free Friday Night Live event Kids will take home goodie bags, containing a toothbrush, toothpaste and dental floss.
Sponsors for Tooth-apolooza include the Snohomish County Dental Society, the Washington Dental Service Foundation, the Snohomish County Dental Foundation and Colgate.
Imagine Children’s Museum is at 1502 Wall St., Everett. See imaginecm.org or call 425-258-1006 for more information.
