Prep boys basketball: Snohomish 73, Mount Vernon 42

SNOHOMISH — Snohomish’s Collin Kane had 22 points, 16 rebounds and three blocks as the Panthers staved off elimination and knocked out Mount Vernon from the 4A District 1 Tournament. Snohomish plays Edmonds-Woodway in the third-place game on Thursday at Mountlake Terrace H.S.
