The store clerk reported that a knife-wielding man entered the business around 10 p.m. and demanded money from the register. He threatened her with a black pocket knife with what appeared to be a 6-inch blade, Mukilteo police officer Colt Davis said.
The suspect ran from the business.
Police dogs from the Edmonds Police Department and Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office couldn’t track down the suspect.
He was described as young, skinny and white. He was about 5-foot-9 and wore a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
The sweatshirt hood was pulled over his face and the drawstring was cinched tight, leaving a small opening around his eyes.
Anyone with information about the case is encouraged to call the Mukilteo Police Department at 425-263-8100.
