Recent actions of Gov. Inslee and President Obama have caused a huge ruckus within certain circles, pounding their bloated chests, ranting down with the dictators and it’s a misuse of power thinking they can just wave a pen and poof … in God’s name how dare they!
Not debating the merits of either side, here’s a question to ponder; explain how it’s any different, maybe even more disturbing how in the states of, and please bear with me, Mississippi, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Florida, Texas, Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Utah, Arizona and a few more worthy of the list have all used their office of the governor in concert with a majority controlled legislature and typically the attorney general to enforce their “views” and this is where the disturbing part comes in, making it all nice and legal by “passing laws”?
From what you see in the news these “laws” don’t always represent of the majority of the people or worse, just single out small segments of the society at large. But wait, there’s the Supreme Court … oops. What’s that again about the misuse of power, can’t hear you over the roar?
Daddy always said no matter how much perfume he wears, that ole skunk still smells like rotten eggs.
