Sehome 60, Archbishop Murphy 53
MOUNT VERNON — A slugish first half and the 21 points and five 3-pointers of Sehome’s Leif Anderson led to a 60-53 loss for Archbishop Murphy in a 2A District 1 Tournament loser-out game on Thursday night,
The Wildcats ended the first half down 31-17, a start that Archbishop Murphy head coach Jamar Williams said wasn’t a typical start for his squad.
“We came out really slow,” said Williams. “And really didn’t compete in the first half. It was a little bit of nerves, we just weren’t ourselves tonight.”
Despite the slow start the Wildcats got 16 points from Conner Longoria with Chase White adding 10 in the loss.
