Thanks for look at business that gives back

Thank you for the inside look at the busiest time for the floral business — Valentines Day! (“At Everett florist, Valentine’s Day a 6-month commitment.”) Not only did you feature a feel-good story about a successful local business, it is run by a family who gives back to the community regularly. Most often when we attend a fund-raising event for a local non-profit, the tables are adorned with beautiful bouquets donated by the Van Winkels. It doesn’t stop there, as they quietly or anonymously give their time, flowers or money to scores of events and causes thoughtful the year. Many other local businesses in our communities do the same. Go find them and tell us their story as well.
