M. Terrace | Boys basketball

The Hawks post scored 28 points and hit two key free throws that secured Mountlake Terrace’s win over Shorewood in a Wesco 3A South showdown. Lacasse also had 14 points in a come-from-behind win over Marysville Pilchuck on Tuesday.

The Hawks guard scored 26 points in a win over Marysville Pilchuck and had 24 in a key Wesco 3A South win over Shorewood to keep Mountlake Terrace in first place all by itself.

Kamiak | Wrestling

The Knights junior avenged a loss to Mariner’s Edgars Plorinsh with an 8-7 win over Plorinsh to lead Kamiak to a team victory and also pinned Jonah Perez to help swing the match to Kamiak and give the Knights the victory and the Wesco 4A South title.

Meadowdale | Boys swim

The Mavericks swimmer won the 50-yard freestyle and also was a key component in Meadowdale’s victorious 200 medley, 200 free and 400 free relay teams as Meadowdale won three meets at the Edmonds School District meet.
