Those interested in learning about the Edmonds School District’s use of technology in classroom learning can come to a lunchtime meeting March 5 at the district offices or, for the first time, listen in and ask questions virtually through a live audio stream online.
“Technology in Our Schools” is the topic of the next Superintendent’s Roundtable, a monthly discussion with school district leader Nick Brossoit and staff.
The meeting runs from noon to 1 p.m. in the district board rooms at 20420 68th Ave. W., Lynnwood.
Lunch is not provided, but people are welcome to bring a meal with them and eat during the meeting.
To register for the online audio stream, go to bit.ly/1fGm9Z1.
Emergency classes: The Emergency Services Coordinating Agency, based in Brier, plans a disaster-preparedness class beginning April 1.
The class will run from 7 to 10 p.m. Tuesdays for eight weeks. The last class is a disaster stimulation.
Classes will be held at Fire District 1 headquarters, 12425 Meridian Ave., Everett.
To register, call 425-776-3722 or email vickie@esca1.com.
