Breakdown: After winning just seven games last season, Mountlake Terrace tore through Wesco 3A this season and rose to a No. 6 ranking in the AP poll. The Hawks get a stiff test tonight, though, in a Lincoln team that prides itself on its defense. Led by 3A Narrows MVP Tia Braggs, the Abes limited opponents to just 38.7 points per game this season. Braggs is an inside force that will create challenges insides for the smallish Terrace team (the Hawks tallest players are Maddy Kristjanson and Samantha Romanowski, both at 5-foot-10). If the Hawks are to win, Romanowski and Froehlich will have to keep up their steady shooting from the outside and Kristjanson and Co. will have to neutralize Braggs in the post.
