The Northwest Stream Center is offering a presentation by David Gordon, the author of “The Secret World of Slugs and Snails: Life in the Very Slow Lane” at 7 p.m. Thursday at the center at McCollum Park.
Gardeners, naturalists and the curious will enjoy delving with Gordon into this private world of sex and slime, which is why this program is rated PG-13. It’s not for little kids.
Gordon will sign copies of the book, which lists at $14.95, following the program.
Reservations are required for Fascination with Slugs and Snails by calling 425-316-8592. Cost is $5 for Adopt A Stream members and $7 for nomembers. Go to www.streamkeeper.org for more information.
The Northwest Stream Center is at 600 128th St. SE, Everett.
