EVERETT — Snohomish County and much of Western Washington could see flooding on Wednesday and Thursday, thanks to an expected burst of heavy rain.
The National Weather Service in Seattle on Tuesday issued a “flood watch” notice, meaning flooding is possible but not imminent.
Locally, the Snohomish River is predicted to continue rising until Friday.
Between Tuesday and Thursday, up to two inches of rain could fall in the lowlands, according to the weather service.
Small streams and creeks may also see flooding.
