WHAT: Pulmonaria ‘Excalibur’ commonly called lungwort, is known for its great early color, arriving long before other spring favorites.
Its intriguing speckled foliage shines in the shaded corners and edges of the garden creating splashes of light.
This perennial spreads slowly by creeping roots and must have moist rich soil.
Excalibur is one of the lovelier pulmonarias because of its cerise and lavender-blue colored flowers.
SUN OR SHADE: Pulmonaria requires full to part shade and should not be allowed to dry out.
SIZE: 9- to 12-inches high by 12 to- 15-inches wide.
