"Chase the Wind, Touch the Sky": Benefit concert for the Patrick Castro Excellence in Vocal Music Scholarship at Snohomish High School; 2 p.m. March 30, Performing Arts Center, at the high school, 1513 Fifth St., Snohomish; Admission is $20 adults, $15 students and seniors, $50 family. Featured will be opera tenor Joel Cummings, who sang under the direction of Castro at Snohomish and Megan chovick, a lyric coloratura soprano, who has sung leading operatic and musical theater roles throughout the region.

DeMiero Jazz Fest: Featuring well-known and local jazz vocalists, the jazz festival shows continues 7 p.m. March 7 and 8 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave., Edmonds. Among those performing are Dee Daniels, the Uptown Vocal Jazz Quartet and Greta Matassa. Sno-King Chorale: "Musica Da Coro," featuring the "St. Cecilia Mass" by Charles-Francois Gounod with soloists Melanie and Thomas Hingson and Matthew Richardson. The program also includes the music of John Rutter, "The Gloria" by Frank DeMiero (chorale director), American gospel selections and the Cascade Youth Symphony under the direction of Gerry Marsh; 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. March 22, Northshore Performing Arts Center, 18125 92nd Ave. NE, Bothell. Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater: Del Rey with guest Matt Weiner; 7:30 p.m. March 22. Del Rey started playing guitar at age 4. Influenced by blues guitarist Memphis Minni and classic jazz, she also gets the same rhythmic blues and ragtime out of the four strings of the ukulele as she does from her six-string guitar.
