Baseball/Softball
-- The City of Mountlake Terrace is accepting registration for its Men’s, Women’s and Coed Softball Leagues. The league fee is $564. Play begins the week of March 23. For more information, call 425-776-9173 or visit www.mlrec.com.
-- Tryouts for the Puget Sound Senior Baseball League (for players 35 and older) are scheduled for March 16 at Bellevue College and March 22 at Edmonds Community College. The tryouts are from 9 a.m. to noon and there is no fee. The PSSBL season runs from May to early September. Lacrosse

Track and Field
-- Jarred Rome’s 2014 Throws Clinic is scheduled for March 15 at Marysville-Pilchuck High School. The instructors include Jarred Rome, Duncan Atwood and Mike Torie. The camp will cover the shot put, discus and javelin. The cost is $110 for coaches and $90 for athletes. Discounts are available for five or more athletes from the same school, or two or more coaches from the same school. Check-in is from 9-10 a.m. The clinic runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break. To register, visit www.jarredrome.org.
