LAS VEGAS — Seattle University (13-17) went to the free-throw line with three seconds remaining in the game Thursday, made one shot, intentionally missed a second, grabbed the rebound but missed a putback attempt and lost 70-68 to New Mexico State (24-9) in the Western Athletic Conference tournament. The Redhawks led the Aggies by two points at the half, but couldn’t sustain the slim advantage after intermission.
