MOUNT VERNON — A man charged with vehicular homicide in the deaths of twin sisters on Halloween near Anacortes has been cleared to drive again, but just for work.
An agreement between the lawyer for Ira Blackstock and prosecutors was signed by a judge Friday in Mount Vernon.
The 53-year-old Oak Harbor man may drive only in connection with his job as a roofer in Skagit County and Whidbey Island.
The Skagit Valley Herald reportsBlackstock is free on $270,000 bail while awaiting trial.
The Washington State Patrol says his pickup truck crossed the centerline of Highway 20 on Oct. 31 and hit a car, killing 17-year-old twins Janeah and Janesah Goheen. A third girl in their car was injured.
