Flood warning issued for Stillaguamish River

ARLINGTON -- The National Weather Service in Seattle has issued a flood warning for the Stillaguamish River at Arlington through Monday afternoon.
Minor flooding is forecast with the river rising above the 14-foot flood stage early Sunday.
It is expected that the river will cause minor flooding mostly in the Silvana area, including over Pioneer Highway and along Norman Road.
The weather service is predicting the water will crest at about 16.7 feet on Sunday evening and fall below flood stage early Monday.
