Donations raised by local relief organizations have raised more than $1.1 million as of Thursday. Here’s a quick breakdown of some of Thursday’s totals.
United Way of Snohomish County: more than $600,000;
Cascade Valley Hospital Foundation: more than $300,000;
American Red Cross of Snohomish County: more than $220,000 as of Wednesday (a running total was not available).
On Thursday, AT&T pledged $25,000 to the United Way and the Starbucks Foundation announced $50,000 in donations to both the United Way and the Red Cross.
Friday, the Herald’s news broadcast partner KIRO 7 will hold a telethon and online drive to benefit the Red Cross.
