Woman shot in Arlington dies; police seek help

ARLINGTON — A woman shot at a home here Tuesday afternoon has died.
Her name and cause of death will be released by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office, police said Wednesday.
Police and medics were sent to a home in the 6800 block of 188th Street NE around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
In the garage there, they found the Arlington woman, 26. She had been shot in the head.
Medics drove her to the Arlington Municipal Airport, where she was flown by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Arlington police learned around 3 a.m. Wednesday that the woman had died from her injuries.
Police are now investigating the case as a homicide, Arlington police spokeswoman Kristin Banfield said.
Police haven’t said whether they have a suspect.
They are asking anyone with information about the case to call the Arlington Police Department or 911.
