Hope Soldiers has set its second event for 6 to 8 p.m. April 23 at Granite Falls High School. Motivational speaker Trent Shelton, of RehabTime, is scheduled to speak.
Lindsey Greinke, a recovering drug addict from Everett, started Hope Soldiers in December. After January’s successful launch event at Jackson High in Mill Creek, Greinke said, she decided to hold another.
Greinke plans to share her story of recovery from abusing heroin and painkillers. She has experts lined up to provide information about the magnitude of problem in Snohomish County and where help is available.
The school is located at 1401 100th St. NE in Granite Falls.
