Martha Jordan, a swan biologist and chairwoman of the Washington Swan Stewards, will discuss the birds’ life history, biology and provide swan identification tips.
Jordan also will shed some light on the problems and controversies these birds face at their wintering ground, including the swan lead poisoning die-off, habitat issues and what is needed to ensure their future.
Jordan will also share photos that help clarify the difficult identification of these swans.
