A hiker in the area called 911 around 1 p.m. to report that he and others were performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation on a man found near a popular biking trail, according to Shari Ireton, spokeswoman for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Aid crews who responded pronounced the man dead at the scene. The man is believed to have been in his 60s. The county Medical Examiner’s office had yet to identify him as of Saturday afternoon, Ireton said.
Police will continue to investigate but there was nothing to indicate any suspicious circumstances surrounding the man’s death, she said.
