Daffodils: The daffodils are blooming at Bonhoeffer Botanical Gardens, located next to Freeborn Lutheran Church in Stanwood. An open house event to view the more than 400,000 bulbs representing 280 species runs 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. today. Also featured are two log cabins; 14 Stations of the Cross; 100 samples of rambling and climbing roses; the 114-year-old church chapel; and a connecting hall featuring 27 years of Pilchuck Glass School work. Egg hunt, Everett: Bethany Christian Assembly plans a candy-filled Eggstravaganza for children, 10 a.m.-noon April 19. Oso Tribute: Oso Chapel leads a community “Oso Tribute” service, 5 p.m. April 26. This will be a time to honor first responders, to thank the many servants and helpers, and to remember those taken by the slide. All are welcome. Auction: Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Lake Stevens plans an auction and dinner fundraiser April 26, with reservations due April 18. Proceeds from the silent and live auctions and catered dinner will benefit church ministries, including the Lake Stevens Food Bank, community supper, senior luncheon, Lake Stevens Family Center, and more.
