Three weeks after the March 22, 2014, Oso mudslide, a clearer picture emerges of who perished and where they were. As victims have been identified one by one, it has been easy to forget that Steelhead Drive was a diverse community of neighbors.
On this map, red pins represent those who are confirmed dead; yellow pins are people who are missing; green pins with dots are people who were rescued; and green pins without dots are people who were away when the slide hit.
This map is a work in progress. If you have suggestions or corrections to offer, please email newstips@heraldnet.com.
