Dave Kleiber, president of the board of Whatcom Counseling and Psychiatric Clinic, has signed a letter of intent to merge the Whatcom County-based company with Compass Health, a behavioral health organization in Everett that serves Snohomish, Skagit, Island and San Juan counties. The expected closing date of the merger is June 30.
Frost Doughnuts announced plans to move to a new location in Mill Creek Town Center in May. The move to 15217 Main Street, Suite 106, across from La Palmera restaurant and next to The Split End Salon will double its current space. Washington Banking Co., the holding company for Whidbey Island Bank, announced that the Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of14 cents per common share to be paid on April 29 to shareholders of record as of April 15. The state Department of Commerce has announced a grant to Snohomish County’s Paine Field to advance environmental permitting efforts and help prepare sites for large-scale manufacturing development. Carletta McKinney has opened Dakota’s Dog Washing Service in Edmonds.
