Prep baseball: Lake Stevens 16, Monroe 5 (5)

MONROE — Branden Kelliher hit a grand slam in the top of the second inning and struck out eight batters and allowed just two hits on the mound to pace Lake Stevens to a victory over Monroe in a Wesco 4A North game. Hunter Bingham hit a double and a home run for the Bearcats in the loss.
