SNOHOMISH — Ben Dmochowsky’s RBI single in the fifth inning drove in Derrek Johnson with the game’s only run as Snohomish beat Monroe on Wednesday in the Wesco 4A opener for both teams.
Johnson walked and stole second before Dmochowsky’s run-scoring hit.
Sandifer threw a complete-game four-hitter with 12 strikeouts and one walk for the Panthers, who continued their perfect start to the season.
