Pack rats
What’s behind those doors? The Snohomish County Airport at Paine Field has warned hangar tenants that they aren’t allowed to use the facilities to store things that aren’t aviation-related (above).
With all that non- aeronautical stuff, it’s only a matter of time until the reality TV show “Storage Wars” shows up to bid on the contents of a hangar, only to be bitterly disappointed when a hoped-for rare comic book collection turns out to be a Cessna 180.
Same goes for “Dogs Playing Poker”: If your decorating budget is tiny, check out how top interior designers find treasures for pittances at flea markets (Page D1).
Just bear in mind that even the design pros can’t do anything with that sad clown picture you snagged at the neighborhood garage sale.
Speaking of dogs: The Yakima City Council has approved an exemption to a ban on pit bulls. The controversial canines will be allowed if they’re service dogs (Northwest Briefly, Page B1).
Among the services rendered by pit bulls is their uncanny ability to convince door-to-door peddlers to get off your porch, now.
