Plant of merit: 'Blue Oak'
A dwarf conifer, it is native to the mountains of southern Oregon and California.
It’s color lends itself to use either as a single specimen or planted in a mixed border with silver, white and purple plants.
Blue Oak’s needles have a delicious citrus fragrance and in the landscape will thrive in moist well-drained soil.
SUN OR SHADE: Requires full to part sun.
SIZE: At maturity it will reach 10 feet in height and 4 feet in width, after 10 years.
