Hunt is on for Easter eggs this weekend throughout county

The Easter Bunny will be busy this year, appearing at many egg hunts throughout Snohomish County.

This year’s Easter egg hunts include lots of extras such as live musical entertainment and visits with the rabbit.

Arlington: Recreation’s annual Easter Egg Hunt, 11 a.m. April 19 in the grassy open space on the south end of the Arlington Airport. Children ages 12 and younger can gather thousands of plastic eggs. Bring baskets and a camera for photos with the Easter Bunny. Enter the airport property from 172nd Street onto 51st Avenue. Parking available in the field.

Bothell: Northshore YMCA, at Doug Allen Sportsfields, 19417 88th Ave. NE, offers three scrambles on April 19 for candy and treat-filled plastic eggs. Start times are 10 a.m. for ages 4 and up, 10:15 for ages 2 and 3 and 10:30 a.m. for toddlers age 2 and younger. Bring food donations for Hopelink.

Brier: 10 a.m. April 19 at Brier Park, 2903 228th St. SW. Ages 3 to 10. Bring a donation for the food bank.

Clearview: Egg hunts for all ages, 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. April 19 at Clearview Foursquare Church, 17210 Highway 9, Snohomish. Bouncy house, petting zoo, face painting, prizes, milk and cookies, too.

Darrington: The Volunteer Fire Department’s Easter Egg Hunt for ages 1 through 9 begins at 11 a.m. April 19 at the Darrington High School football field, 1085 Fir St.

Edmonds: Rotary Club of Edmonds Daybreakers hosts an egg hunt for ages 3 through 10; 10 a.m. April 19 at the Frances Anderson Field, 700 Main St. Pictures with the Easter Bunny and firefighters from Fire District 1. Donations to Edmonds Food Bank.

Edmonds: The 18th annual Great Hunt by Edmonds Lutheran Church, with more than 20,000 plastic Easter eggs, 400 baskets and 300 golden eggs, 9 a.m. April 19 at the church, 23525 84th Ave W. Refreshments provided. Singer Eric Ode will entertain.

Everett: Harborview, Seahurst, Glenhaven Neighborhood Association Easter Parade and Egg Scramble on April 19. Bring a basket and line up at 11 a.m. at 4600 Seahurst for the parade to 5120 Seahurst for the egg hunt. Coffee for adults.

Everett: Free Community Easter Egg Hunt, 11:30 a.m. April 19, corner of Pecks Drive and Cady Road. Games, balloon hats, Popsicles and food treats. More than 3,000 eggs will be hidden for each age group. Sponsored by View Ridge Madison Neighborhood Association, South Everett Neighborhood Center, Faith Lutheran Church and Transcold Distribution. Volunteers are needed and should arrive at 10:30 a.m.

Everett: Sonrise Christian Center’s egg hunt and community barbecue begins at 10 a.m. April 19 at Walter E. Hall Park, 1226 SW Casino Road. More than 10,000 eggs, and food for all.

Everett: 10 a.m. April 19 at Bethany Christian Assembly church, 2715 Everett Ave.. Easter program, inflatables, pony rides, cotton candy, popcorn and prizes.

Everett: Bayside Neighborhood’s Easter Egg Hunt, music and snacks; noon April 19, Clark Park, 2400 Lombard Ave. Come early, meet the Easter Bunny and do some warm up exercises.

Lake Stevens: 1:30 p.m. April 19 at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, 2111 117th Ave. NE. For kids up through fifth grade. Easter story and other activities.

Lynnwood: 10:30 a.m. April 19 at LifePoint Church, 3223 164th St. SW. Ages 1-12. Prizes, inflatables, balloon animals and more.

Marysville: Recreation’s annual Easter Egg Hunt is 10 to 11 a.m. April 19, Jennings Memorial Park, 6915 Armar Road. More than 10,000 plastic eggs filled with candy and prizes will be hidden in and around the Rotary Ranch for children age 8 or younger. Kids’ Craft Fair, Easter bunny visit. Participants asked to bring a donation to Marysville Community Food Bank. Additional parking at Marysville Middle School.

Mill Creek: Recreation’s Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt, 10:30 a.m. April 19 on the football field at Heatherwood Middle School, 1419 Trillium Blvd. Ages 1 year to fifth grade. Bring a basket. Face-painting, balloon animals, visit from Easter Bunny. Bring a donation for the food bank.

Monroe: 18th annual Community Egg Hunt, 9 a.m. April 19 at Lake Tye Park, Fryelands Boulevard at 152nd Street SE. Kids up to age 10. Face painting, games, Easter Bunny visit and crafts.

Monroe: Eagles Club Egg Hunt, 1 p.m. April 20 at Frank Wagner Elementary School play field, 115 Dickinson Road.

Mountlake Terrace: Nile Shrine Easter Egg Hunt, 11 a.m. April 19, 6601 244th St. SW.

Mukilteo: Egg hunt at 9 a.m. April 20 at Pointe of Grace Lutheran Church, 5425 Harbour Pointe Blvd., followed by worship at 9:30 a.m. followed by fruit and pastry brunch.

Mukilteo: The local firefighters’ annual egg hunt for ages 1 through 10 begins at 10:30 a.m. April 19 at Mukilteo Elementary School, 2600 Mukilteo Speedway. Fire and police vehicles and Easter Rabbit available for photos. Three fields will be set up. Prizes to kids who find golden eggs. Donations for Mukilteo Food Bank.

Snohomish: Easter Parade and Easter Bonnet Contest, 11 a.m. April 19, First Street in downtown Snohomish. Pets are welcome. Bonnet contest judging follows the parade at First Street and Avenue A. Parade entry forms and more Easter Parade information is available at www.cityofsnohomish.com.

Snohomish: 9 a.m. April 19 at Snohomish Faith Assembly church, 1220 22nd St. Preschool to grade 6. Limited parking and eggs.

Stanwood: An Easter egg hunt for all children of the community is set for 10:15 a.m. April 20 at Stanwood United Methodist Church, 27128 102nd Drive NW. A contemporary Easter service follows.

Stanwood and Camano Island: Egg hunt, 10 a.m. April 19 at Restoration Church of Camano-Stanwood, 788 Smith Road, Camano Island.

Sultan: Egg hunt, 11 a.m. April 19 at River Park, 100 First St., Sultan.
