Two injured in one-vehicle accident near Stanwood

CAMANO ISLAND -- Two people were injured in an accident Saturday night about 11 p.m. on Good Road about 3 miles west of Stanwood.
The Washington State Patrol said a Stanwood man, 34, was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center after he crashed at Utsalady Road while driving north. The Mercedes Benz traveled across a private driveway and hit a tree.
The man was listed in serious condition at Harborview on Sunday.
The passenger, a Camano Island woman, 36, was injured and taken to an area hospital, troopers reported. Information about her condition was not available.
Troopers are investigating the accident. Drugs or alcohol are suspected to be a factor, the State Patrol said.
