The Friends of Camano Island Parks invite any friends, neighbors and avid walkers to join them on a guided tour of Iverson Spit Preserve, Kristoferson Creek Habitat and English Boom Park on May 3.
Meet at Iverson Spit, 3 Iverson Road, Camano Island, at 9:50 a.m., for a 1-mile walk with views of Port Susan and a short visit to Kristofferson Creek.
Directions to the English Boom Park will be available at Iverson Spit. Trail booklets and maps will be available for $1.
The walk at English Boom Park is about a mile long on a marsh trail boardwalk along Skagit Bay.
Dogs are not allowed.
