SULTAN — Sultan swept a Cascade Conference doubleheader from Coupeville on Monday. The Turks won the first contest 14-4, finishing off a rain-suspended game. Bethany Kirkpatrick went 3-for-4 with six RBI, including a three-run home run, and Courtney Morris batted 4-for-4 to lead the Sultan offense.
In the second game, Turks starting pitcher Shelby Jeffries pitched a complete-game shutout with 16 strikeouts and also had four hits at the plate.
