Trying to cut down: Police in Oregon City, Ore., are looking for a shoplifter who made off with hundreds of dollars’ worth of nicotine gum from a Walgreens.
The suspect is described as 6 feet tall, 150 pounds and was last seen desperately trying to keep a stick of gum lit.
They have a basketball team, don’t they? Hundreds of Western Washington University students marched in support of ethnic and cultural diversity and in defense of the college’s president, who warned recently that Western had to do more to encourage minorities to attend the Bellingham college. Currently, about 3 out of every 4 Western students are white.
“Or, I could just buy myself a college,” said Donald Sterling.
