Theater: Village Theatre’s new musical, “The Tutor,” plays Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Everett. The show is the story of a struggling writer and his unexpected muse. Get the details in our story here.

Make a new friend: Sesame Street Live is in Everett on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Comcast Arena. Get the details in our story here.

Dance: “Celebrate Life — Africa,” a benefit dance performance, is at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the PUD auditorium in Everett. The show also includes a silent auction. Get details here.
