Plant sales: A huge number of plant sales are this weekend. One of the biggest is the Snohomish County Master Gardeners sale Saturday at McCollum Park. Seattle Tilth also has a massive sale Saturday and Sunday in Seattle. Check out the details on these and more sales here.

Theater: Village Theatre’s new musical, “The Tutor,” plays Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Everett. The show is the story of a struggling writer and his unexpected muse. Get the details in our story here.

Make a new friend: Sesame Street Live is in Everett on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Comcast Arena. Get the details in our story here.

Dance: “Celebrate Life — Africa,” a benefit dance performance, is at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the PUD auditorium in Everett. The show also includes a silent auction. Get details here.

More dance: See BodyVox, which combines dance, theater and film with athleticism and humor, Saturday night at Edmonds Center for the Arts. Get more info and tickets here.

For kids: A performance of “Splat the Cat’ for kids is at 2 p.m. Sunday at Everett Civic Auditorium. Get details and tickets here.

Rock and gem show: The Gem, Jewelry and Mineral Show is Saturday and Sunday at Everett Community College. The show will have fun for all ages. There is an activity area for kids. Get the details in our story here.

Summer camp fair: Learn about more than 20 local summer camp options from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Duvall Visitor Center, 15619 Main St. There will be camp options for kids ages 3 to 17. Get more info here.
