High school theater: Many local high schools have productions this weekend. Check our list here.
Free comic books: Many local stores are participating in Free Comic Book Day on Saturday. Click here to search for a story near you to get your free book.
Garage sale: Mill Creek has a huge yard sale on Saturday. You'll find sales in 21 neighborhoods around the golf course. There are no official hours, but if you show up early, you'll be more likely to score details. Get more info in our story here.
Plant sales: A huge number of plant sales are this weekend. One of the biggest is the Snohomish County Master Gardeners sale Saturday at McCollum Park. Seattle Tilth also has a massive sale Saturday and Sunday in Seattle. Check out the details on these and more sales here.
Theater: Village Theatre's new musical, "The Tutor," plays Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Everett. The show is the story of a struggling writer and his unexpected muse. Get the details in our story here.

Dance: "Celebrate Life -- Africa," a benefit dance performance, is at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the PUD auditorium in Everett. The show also includes a silent auction. Get details here.
